Financial cushion is important, especially in your 40s.

 Are you willing to learn and master the language?

Not basic Japanese, but the real, functional, everyday Japanese.

Without the language, many things become stressful.

Because let’s be honest:

Japan is not a place of escape.

It won’t magically fix your life.

There will be obstacles — paperwork, culture shock, loneliness, misunderstandings, job limitations.

Ask yourself:

Are you ready for the challenges?
